Iconic Michael Jordan advert with his mum still has fans in hysterics over stunt double

Remember the time that Michael Jordan was outplayed by his mom on the basketball court?

Yes, it really happened.

And there's a hilarious video to prove it.

Before Jordan became the first American athlete to crack the Forbes 400, he was working his way up in the business world and still proving himself in the NBA.

A video of Jordan with his mom, Deloris, is even more unbelievable decades later, partially thanks to a stunt double who clearly isn't Deloris.

"Keep your eye on the rim and concentrate," said Jordan's mom, holding a basketball and teaching Air Jordan a few tips about the best way to get a ball through a hoop.

"Like this?" asked the Chicago Bulls legend.

Nope.

Jordan bricked the shot off the glass, completely missing the rim.

"No, like this," said Deloris, holding the ball near her shoulder before making a smooth basket.

The fake laughter in the background makes the video even better.

As Deloris starts swishing buckets, all a future six-time NBA Finals winner can do is watch in awe.

"Like this, Michael," said the mother who raised the greatest basketball player of all time.

When the razzle dazzle is unleashed the funny footage becomes simply unbelievable.

A stunt double glides through the air and pulls off a reverse slam.

"That's my mom," said Jordan, drawing more laughter from the fake TV audience.

Jordan obviously learned a lot from his dear old mum in the video.

He was a 14-time All Star, 10-time scoring champion and made nine All-Defensive teams.

Jordan won the Finals MVP every time he made the NBA's biggest playoff series.

The Hall of Fame member was so good at basketball -- thanks to his mum's shooting help -- that he eventually purchased a team of his own before selling it to become worth $3billion.
