Here are some photos of Jennifer Aniston on the set of The Yellow Birds a few weeks ago. I just never got around to posting these photos for whatever reason, possibly because the wiglet is really, really bad and I just wanted it out of my sight. If you’re really looking, you can see that Jennifer is holding a bottle of SmartWater. When she gets pap’d these days, she’s almost always carrying SmartWater. She’s got a massive SmartWater contract, and I believe she’s a profit-sharer in the company. Which is why she’s constantly shilling it, visually and verbally. Which brings me to this – Jennifer sat down for an interview with Goop.com. I do not believe Gwyneth Paltrow conducted this interview at all, although that would be funny (Gwyneth and That TV Girl). The piece was done “in partnership” with SmartWater, because I guess that’s what we have to say now instead of just calling it what it is: an infomercial/advertisement. You can read the full piece here. Some highlights:

Her tips for the holidays: “Don’t over-extend yourself too much. There is nothing worse than wearing yourself down during what is already a busy time for everyone. I know sometimes it’s hard to not over-commit to friends and family during the holidays but I try to be mindful of it.”

What she does religiously every day: “I start every day with a good, solid breakfast. I like to meditate every day for even just a few minutes—it helps clear the mind. I take a good multivitamin every day as well.”

Her tips for staying hydrated: “Carry bottles of water with you everywhere you go. During the not-so-hot seasons in Los Angeles I keep a case of smartwater and smartwater sparkling in my car. In the summer I keep a cooler in the car to keep it cold. When you carry a bottle with you all the time you just get into the routine of drinking a lot of water.”

What’s sacred to her: “Spending time with my husband, my dogs, and long-time girlfriends. Those times are sacred to me and I would never give them up.”

Go-to weeknight meal? “Most nights I have protein and veggies for dinner and a chopped salad, no tomatoes for lunch!”

Best gift she’s ever received: “When my husband surprises me when I’m away working.”

Best gift she’s ever given: “When I surprise my husband when he is working.”

How she stays “ageless”: “I have said this before but it’s the truth—I really think hydration is so important…and sleep! I drink smartwater all day everyday and I like the new smartwater sparkling water at night with meals. I take care of my skin and try not to go into the sun as much as I used to. Also we are as young as we feel and treating yourself right is a great way to feel good. Being happy is also a key to looking and feeling younger.”

On her favorite Chinese restaurant: “I’m not big on Chinese food.”

[From Goop.com]

She doesn’t like Chinese food?! How is that possible? God, I think I’m going to go out for some pre-Christmas Chinese food tonight. I don’t know what I would do without Chinese food in my life. But Aniston is so LA – I bet she prefers sushi. I also don’t get the dislike of tomatoes. It’s become more common, at least from what I’ve seen – why is tomato-hate suddenly on the rise? Tomatoes are awesome and good for you. As for how she stays “ageless” – I could actually feel Gwyneth Paltrow eyerolling from here.
